CS Brazil Exports
- This week, 330kmt of raws were nominated in CS – the strongest second week of the year on record.
- So far, total nominations stand at 1.3mmt, with 727kmt sailed to date.
- If the pace of nominations is sustained in the upcoming weeks, January could set a new record for exports in Q1.
- The last time a volume over 1.5mmt of raws was exported was in 2014.
- Worth to note as well is whites breakbulk exports, with over 280kmt nominated already this quarter – total Brazil.
- It is the strongest volume for the period since the 2012/13 season.
- The main destinations remain a mystery as they have not been disclosed in the data received.
- But it is safe to assume most of the volume is for African ports.
Destinations
- Few destinations have been disclosed this week in the additions to the line up.
- Among them is a vessel for Morocco with 33kmt sailing from CS.
- And one for Spain sailing from NNE with 30kmt.
