CS Brazil Exports
- The offtake remains strong, with 652k tonnes of raws nominated in CS.
- Interestingly, most of this volume was for December, even though November’s line-up still has room for more nominations.
- Around 1.7m tonnes have sailed so far this month, leaving 975k tonnes to be shipped in the next 10 days.
- A small volume for November could still be nominated next week, resulting in around 2.8m tonnes of exports, in line with estimates.
- For December, nominations stand at 420k tonnes for raw sugar in CS.
- Terminals in Santos have been operating well (without delays).
- Despite the strong volume of nominations over the past weeks, there is no queue at the port and the waiting time to berth staying below five days.
Destinations
- Out of the new nominations this week, 126k tonnes are for China; Q4’s offtake now stands at 1.5m tonnes.
- One vessel carrying 73k tonnes is destined for the UAE.
- A further 60k tonnes are destined for Nigeria.
