- Currently, CS August line up stands at 3.5mmt.
- So far, 1.9mmt have been shipped.
- Assuming the pace is maintained, August could see around 3.2mmt exported – an all-time record for CS.
- September raws nominations are also high, with around 900kmt – part of this volume has rolled from August.
CS Raws Weekly Nominations Monitor – weekly nominations averaging 500kmt in August
- Offtake seem to have slowdown in the past weeks, after the records register early in the season.
- And yet, line at the terminals remain high.
- Rumo is averaging 34 days of waiting time to berth, followed by T-12A, Copersucar and Tiplam with around 11 days.

CS Brazil Raw Sugar Main Destinations in Q3
- By far, China is the main oftaker of Brazilian sugar this quarter.
- Although we have not seen fresh nominations this week for China, vessels that had the destination confirmation pending are now listed as heading to China.
- Currently total offtake stands at 1.3mmt – which is the largest volume since 2013.
- As for the nominations this week, there is new volume for Canada, Iraq and Malaysia – one vessel each.
