- Nominations in CS totalled 400kmt this week;
- Total March nominations now stand at 1.5mmt;
- If more vessels are nominated to be shipped this month, March could see the highest exports on the record for this period.
- For April, 107kmt have already been nominated
Destinations
CS Brazil Raw Sugar Main Destinations
- Out of the new nominations this week, 35kmt are destined to USA – total Q1 offtake stands at 66kmt;
- Tunisia with 30kmt nominated – the first volume since September.
Port Situation
- Due to coronavirus, we are monitoring how the situation at the logistic system will develop.
- So far, port operation working normally, no information yet about closing the operation.
- ANVISA is asking for the Medical Logbook and the Maritime Health Declaration issued at least 48 hours before arrival to be attached to the PSP.
- If any crew feeling sick, the vessel will enter quarantine for 14 days. – authorities look at each case individually.
- To board the vessel, safety equipment is required.
- Immigration has stopped boarding the vessels for clearance, all will be done at their office.
- Other authorities have informed boarding will be cancelled, only if necessary.
- The stevedores have reached an agreement and will continue to work as normal.
- Another meeting will be held this Friday (20/03) between all parties in order o decide if additional measures are necessary.
