It is the busy time of farming. We need to loosen the soil, remove weeds and rocks, and get ready for the planting.
Six steps to kill the weeds.
- Fire attack.
- Rototillers destroy grass roots and expose them to the sun.
- Exposure to the sun for three days after deep soil loosening.
- When the rain comes, plant fast-growing GUI 58 sugarcane to inhibit weed growth.
- Local application of Glufosinate ammonium (herbicide).
- Leave it to fate.
The rototiller ran for six days; the wear and tear was already severe.

Our planting team consists of 14 people. 11 people are responsible for transporting and planting seeds, and 2 of them are ready to fertilize at any time. Another man drives a micro-cultivator to cover the soil. 30 mu (1hectare = 16mu) can be planted in a day.
Has The New Cane Contract Been Signed?
As for the sugarcane contract, we re-signed a six-year sugarcane planting contract last year. Despite the recent surge in sugar prices, there are no plans to expand sugarcane production. The proportion of new sugarcane planted this year is about 30 percent.
Is There Any Change in The Price of Agricultural Supplies?
I’ve been too busy to focus on this lately. I also don’t know why domestic and foreign fertiliser prices don’t move in the same direction. I plan to purchase fertilizer at the end of the month.
