The USDA Dashboard (Jan’20)

  • This new Interactive Data feature is Czapp’s new one-stop shop for anyone interested in the US sugar market.
  • The dashboard consists of three sections: WASDE and Market Data, Import Data and the US Crop Models.

Indian Reservoir Levels (Jan’20)

  • This feature enables you to monitor India’s reservoir levels and see how they compare to the historic data.
  • You can view the overall levels, as well as those in India’s key sugar-producing regions: Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Ranked Trade Flows (Mar’20)

  • Our Sugar Balance Sheets are now home to our Ranked Trade Flows.
  • Using tree maps, we have better visualised how different countries fare against one another and fit within the overall picture.

  • Here, you can monitor the progress of China’s sugar production, crushing status and mill activity.
  • This section also stores the crop models for Brazil, Thailand, India and Mexico.

The Video Tutorial Centre (Mar’20)

  • This dashboard contains video tutorial videos that explain how you can use our Interactive Data tools most effectively.

The New Interactive Data Dashboard (Apr’20)

  • In April this year, we redesigned the Interactive Data dashboards to make them easier to use than ever before.
  • We streamlined their functionality, removed the less useful features and made the entire user experience more counterintuitive.

The Global Logistics Tracker (Apr’20)

  • This interactive map was designed to keep you informed on the restrictions countries were facing at ports when COVID-19 first hit.

  • The Czapp News Feed gives you access to all the relevant news for Dairy, Ethanol, Grains and Sugar for free.
  • You can personalise your news feed based on the product you’re interested in, the release date and by location. 

Futures Market Data (Jun’20)

  • This is your one-stop shop for the raw sugar futures, white sugar futures, and the white premium.
  • In just a few clicks, you can shift between the active contract, the forthcoming contracts or any of the historic contracts for the past 20 years.

Czapp Notifications (Jun’20)

  • Nobody likes being spammed. That’s why we made it so can personalise the amount you hear from us.
  • Simply head to your Profile, select the topics that interest you, and you’ll only receive notifications when we share things that are relevant to you.
  • Oh, and you can also choose to receive emails directly to your mobile, so you have on-the-go access to all of our Opinions and Data.

The Colombia Dashboard (Aug’20)

  • This has all the data you’ll ever need regarding Colombian sugar production, crushing, domestic sales, and price movements.
  • The new feature also shows you how other products fit into Colombia’s picture, with one section presenting how much alcohol (for fuel and otherwise) and molasses are produced alongside sugar.

Colombia’s Arancel (Sugar Duty) Calculator (Aug’20)

  • This tool goes hand-in-hand with the above, estimating Colombia’s future sugar duty rate for raws and whites, which changes on a biweekly basis.

CRU’s Fertilizer Prices and Affordability (Aug’20)

  • Here, you can view fertilizer prices for Brazil, Thailand, South Africa, and Australia in the Interactive Data section.
  • The prices are updated each week and reflect movement from as far back as Jul’17.
  • You can also see which fertilizer is cheapest on a biweekly basis; read more about the methodology behind this here.

  • We paired up with CRU Group back in January.
  • They specialise in fertilizer, mining and metal commodities and deliver business intelligence through analysis, prices, consulting and events.
  • With their expertise now on-hand, we bring you a range of pieces discussing the fertilizer markets.
  • At present, we publish (bi)weekly price data, affordability information, market outlooks and other insightful pieces of analysis.

We Teamed-Up with Fruit Juice Focus! (Jan’20)

  • Fruit Juice Focus is a new online magazine and information source for the fruit industry.
  • They write features on juice processing, technical and marketing innovation plus the latest trade data, news briefs, a company directory and information on events and industry associations.
  • They offer a bimonthly contribution on Czapp.

The Brazil Ethanol Outlook Made its Return (Feb’20)

  • The Brazil Ethanol Outlook (P) returned to Czapp.
  • This weekly report provides an update on the hydrous and Brent Oil prices, as well as a commentary on the market.

We Teamed Up with United Molasses! (Mar’20)

  • We’re delighted to have teamed up with UM Group, specialists in global trading, the marketing of molasses and related products, as well as the storage of bulk liquids.
  • With their expertise now on-hand, we now offer a range of molasses analysis.

We Revamped the Sugar Statshot 2.0 (Jul’20)

  • We’ve stripped this Opinion right back and turned it into a neat one-page infographic.
  • It is now one of our snappiest market updates, briefly confirming the situation with global and regional production, whilst highlighting our key focal points in the market.

We Launched the Market Talks (Aug’20)

  • Our Market Talks package up trade gossip, breaking news stories and data into short and snappy overviews on what’s happening in today’s market.

We Started Publishing Aluminium Content (Aug’20)

  • We launched a series of Aluminium Opinions back in August.

We Teamed Up with BIMCO (Sep’20)

  • Another company we’ve partnered up with is BIMCO.
  • BIMCO is the largest international shipping association representing shipowners.
  • Its membership controls around 65% of the world’s tonnage and it has members in more than 120 countries, including managers, brokers and agents.

We Began Publicising Czapp’s Most-Read Opinions (Oct’20)

  • A lot happens in a month on Czapp.
  • In November alone, we shared over 100 Opinions for you to read, so we understand if you missed a couple of things.

Czapp’s Multilanguage Functionality

  • You can now alter your language preferences on Czapp.
  • By heading to your Profile, you can select whether you’d like to see and read things in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin or Thai.
  • As it stands, we’re sharing our Market View in each of these languages, but we’ll be expanding our coverage in 2021.
