CS Brazil Exports

  • This week, 533kmt of raws were nominated in CS – the strongest third week of the year on record.
  • So far, total nominations stand at 1.55mmt, with 1mmt sailed to date.
  • We are still expecting around 1.7mmt to be nominated this month, but logistics could limit the volume effectively exported in January.

  • At the current pace of operations, January could see 200kmt rolled into February – which already has 300kmt nominated.
  • Rumo has maintenance until the 12th of February and Tiplam’s maintenance goes until the end of the month.
  • Additionally, with TEAG and T-12A not loading sugar, there is limited export capacity expected in Santos for the next 2 months.
  • Waiting time to berth remains low, but we are keeping an eye out for any logistical disruptions.
