- Nominations in CS totalled 600kmt of raws this week, taking May total offtake to 2.5mmt.
- This volume is above what we saw exported last season, and above what we believe is the capacity allocated for sugar exports.
- Future nominations should roll into June.

- Despite the large volume of the past couple of weeks, waiting time to berth is holding steady.
- Santos registered this week an average of 9 days at its sugar terminals.

Destinations
- Out of the new nominations this week, 122kmt of raws to Algeria – which is now 10% above last year’s offtake.
- Bangladesh with 107kmt of raws nominated – total offtake this quarter stands at 230kmt.
- And 120kmt to China.
