Exports from South Khorasan Increases 41% In 4 Months

USDA: US Wood Pellet Exports at 603,752 Metric Tons in June

US wood pellet exports increased from 513,608 metric tons in May to 603,752.2 metric tons in June. However, this was still a drop from 684,030.2 metric tons in June 2020. The main export destinations were the U.K. at 420,412.6, the Netherlands at 108,717.3, and Belgium-Luxembourg at 49,122.3 metric tons.

Will E10 Fuel Cost More Than Regular Petrol?

E10 fuel will be officially introduced in Britain from September 2021. This fuel is said to be better than E5 as it contains up to 10 % renewable ethanol, which will help minimize carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. However, introducing it will possibly cause a £6.11 increase to the cost of a tank of fuel for over half a million car owners.

Brazil to Have Record-Breaking Harvest in 2021

According to the Systematic Survey of Agricultural Production (LSPA), the Brazilian harvest of grains, legumes, and cereals could reach 256.1 million tonnes. This will be 0.8% above last year’s yield. Soybean harvest has already been completed and produced satisfying results in the historical series of the survey, with 133.4 million tonnes.

Grain Yield 35% Lower This Year in Kazakhstan

Adverse weather conditions in Kazakhstan affected the yield of winter grain crops, with that of grains being 1.23 t/ha, a 35% drop from last year’s. As of August 11, the production of grains amounted to 1.135 mln tonnes, which was harvested in 6 oblasts.

EasyJet recently announced its introduction of new uniforms for cabin crew and pilots made from around 45 recycled plastic bottles. The company believes this will help prevent about 500,000 plastic bottles from ending up as waste p/a. The material has also passed the comfortability and durability test.
