Neil Rosser is currently Director of Bison Luxley Commodities which provides consultancy services to the coffee industry. He has been a commodity statistician for over 35 years specialising mainly in coffee. He was Vice Chairman of the International Coffee Organisation Statistical Committee for a number of years and in 2022 worked on providing statistics for “The Coffee Guide” published by the International Trade Centre of the United Nations. He has worked for most of the largest trade houses, setting up the Neumann Kaffee Gruppe Statistical Unit, which he ran for 14 years, as well as heading coffee research for E.D &F Man and Olam. He has also worked for the KLI and Armajaro Funds. He was Head of Coffee Research for Armajaro Research Ltd, which was acquired by Ecom in 2016, becoming Head of Ecom coffee research. He has always had an abiding love for the fascination and unpredictability of coffee statistics.
