EU Monitor Tweaks 2021 Crop Yield Forecasts as Rain Hits Quality

MARS (European Union’s crop monitoring unit) recently reported that the increased rainfall in various countries would probably affect grain quality and not overall yields. It then added that the average EU soft wheat yield would be approximately 6.05 tonnes per hectare (t/ha), which is 6.1% above last year’s harvest.
